Shallow Hal was on the telly last night, and although I love Jack Black, I dislike his co-star (the dude with the ‘tail’ and the terrible, terrible coloured-in hair) very much. And as Steve pointed out, the whole premise of Shallow Hal is a con. I understand that he’s supposed to see everyone’s inner beauty, and that’s great. I get it. But rather than seeing each person, warts and all, as beautiful, he sees a completely warped image of them. One that looks like it just stepped out a salon.
I digress.
